TOWN OF MONTGOMERY – A
42-year-old man has been arrested by Montgomery Town Police following
an investigation into several sexual assaults involving multiple victims.
The suspect, identified as Ammi Francois, was known to all of the victims,
police said.
He was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child, course of
sexual conduct against a child, and four counts of rape, all as felonies
as well as two counts of forcible touching, two counts of sexual abuse
and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors.
Francois was remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail.
Police said the investigation into additional victims is ongoing and the
public is asked to contact Montgomery Town Police with any information
about this case and the possibility of additional victims.
