WHITE PLAINS – A Mount Vernon man was found guilty in Westchester County Court in the death of his girlfriend.  Jason Myers, 23, was convicted of manslaughter and concealment of a human corpse.
On or about August 23, 2016, Mt. Vernon Police were contacted by a family member of Ashley McDuffie to report she was missing.
Three days later, Myers confessed to police that he killed the woman and dumped her body in a heavily wooded area in Seton Falls Park in the Bronx.
An autopsy concluded McDuffie was strangled to death.
When sentenced in December, Myers faces up to 15 years in state prison.
