GOSHEN – The Orange County Office of Veterans Affairs is taking a page from the Wreathes Across America campaign by raising funds to place a holiday wreathe at every grave at the county Veterans Cemetery in Goshen.
County Veterans Affairs Director Christian Farrell said they want to raise $30,000 for the campaign.
“We are talking about 3,400 wreathes and we will put them out on December 16,” Farrell said. “I think the cemetery is a special place and it will really look incredible and it is a great way to honor those who are buried here by having a wreathe down.”
Wreathes are being sold for $15 each or three for $30 and may be purchased through the county Office of Veterans Affairs in Goshen.
