Teen responsible for parochial school, bank graffiti, police say

A vandalized wall at the Kingston Catholic School

KINGSTON – A 15-year-old juvenile has been identified as the person
who spray-painted graffiti on the Kingston Catholic School and a local
bank in the City of Kingston. One resident, who asked not be identified,
termed the vandalism on the school “hateful anti-Catholic graffiti.”

Police Lt. Terry Croizer said the vandalism was committed over last Friday.

The youth will be referred to Ulster County Family Court.

Croizer would not say whether the suspect was male or female.
Kingston Catholic School Principal Jill Albert was unavailable for comment
on Tuesday.
