BEACON – A 23-year-old man was shot in Beacon last week and city police are investigating.
At about 1 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, police observed a vehicle traveling
north on Route 9D at a high rate of speed. They turned on their emergency
lights and attempted to stop the vehicle, which did not comply.
The vehicle was pursued to a local hospital where it became evidence that a passenger had been shot and sustained a non-fatal wound. A preliminary investigation revealed the man was shot in Beacon.
