POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie man was committed to the Dutchess
County Jail in lieu of $75,000 cash bail or $150,000 bond following his
arrest on felony drug charges.
Police executed a search warrant at a Noxon Road address in Poughkeepsie
following an investigation and arrested Rahmel Prince Ali Garraway, 24,
who was found in possession of over one ounce of cocaine, crack cocaine,
drug paraphernalia and $1,800 in cash.
He was charged on Friday with criminal sale and possession of a controlled
substance.
Investigating the case were the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement
Team, City of Poughkeepsie Police Neighborhood Recovery Unit and State
Police Special Operations Response Team.
