KINGSTON – A 38-year-old City of Kingston man pled guilty in Ulster
County Court on Thursday to the crime of felony sexual abuse for having
sexual contact with a child under the age of 11.
David Vega-Soto admitted that on June 25 he subjected the child to sexual
abuse. He was arrested on June 30 following an investigation by the Ulster
County Family and Child Advocacy Center.
The case was prosecuted by Special Victims Bureau Chief Katherine Van
Loan.
Vega-Soto will be sentenced on December 12.
