PLEASANT VALLEY – A Pleasant Valley woman has been arrested and
charged with stealing over $5,000 from her employer, Smokes 4 Less on
North Avenue in Pleasant Valley.
State Police said Danielle Lessner, 21, allegedly took merchandise and
scanned the items as returned in the register. She then stole the money
credited for each return.
She was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail
or $5,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
