KINGSTON – The parking kiosks in Kingston’s six municipal
parking lots go live one week from today. Beginning on Tuesday, October
10, a fee of 75 cents per hour will be charged Mondays through Saturdays
from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The city is also selling parking permits for just $10 through the end of the year and to date, 400 have been purchased, said Mayor Steven Noble.
“We are excited to see the number of people who use the permits and we will have a sense of where all these people are coming from and living and will help us make more informed decisions this fall,” he said.
There is room for 500 vehicles in the six municipal lots. The permits will be based on availability of those spots.
