Ballester-Perez
KINGSTON – An Accord man pled guilty in Ulster County Court on Monday to the violent felony offense of course of sexual conduct against a child.
Gilberto Ballester-Perez, 36, entered his guilty plea minutes before jury selection was to begin. He admitted that between July 1, 2016 and December 15, 2016 he engaged in two or more acts of sexual conduct with a child under the age of 11.
Ballester-Perez was arrested on December 13, 2016 following an investigation by the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 8.
