TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE –
The Poughkeepsie Town Police Department is seeking persons interested
in taking a police examination prep course being offered.
The course is being offered to help prepare individuals to take the police
officer/deputy sheriff civil service exam being offered on December 2.
The course is free of charge along with the preparatory course book that
will be provided.
The courses will be offered on October 7 and 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
at the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department Training Room at 19 Tucker
Drive and will also be offered at Marist College, Donnelly Hall Room 225
on October 21.
Individuals interested in taking the course must reserve space in the
course by calling Lt. Wagner in the Poughkeepsie Town Police Training
Unit at 845-486-7845 or to training@townofpoughkeepsie-ny.gov.
The deadline to sign up and take the civil service exam is October 13.
