TOWN OF CLINTON – State Police continue to investigate a commercial
burglary at the Stewart’s Shop on Salt Point Turnpike in the Town
of Clinton.
The crime occurred between 2:47 a.m. and 2:58 a.m. on September 26.
Surveillance footage at the business showed two suspects breaking into
the front door and destroying and stealing cash registers. One register
box was stolen but contained no money.
The suspects left the scene in an unknown direction.
