PEASANT VALLEY – A Pine Plains man was arrested on Tuesday by State Police on charges of possession of a forged instrument and grand larceny, both as felonies, and a misdemeanor of petit larceny.
State Police received a report from a Town of Washington resident in August of checks written from his bank account totaling some $13,345, which were determined to have been forged.
Investigation revealed that Timothy Rozelle, 38, deposited and cashed several forged checks throughout several locations in Dutchess County.  He was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
