MID-HUDSON – Orange County
Legislator Thomas Faggione, Deerpark Town Clerk Flo Santini and Assemblyman
Karl Brabenec have joined forces to collect supplies for victims of hurricane-torn
Puerto Rico.  Also involved in the effort is Ruben Estrada, president
of the Latino National Republican Conference of New York.
Relief supplies and donations will be collected to help families who
lost everything in Hurricane Maria.
Donations can be dropped off Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Town of Deerpark Clerk’s Office through October 13.
Meanwhile, Dutchess County Legislator Francena Amparo will hold a hurricane relief drive on Sunday, October 1 at Starbucks at Ransley Square, 11 Merritt Boulevard, Route 9, in Fishkill.
“Thinking about the long road to recovery for people on the island, I couldn’t just sit by and see what kind of help materializes,” said Amparo. “There are so many Puerto Ricans in our own community and so many expressions of support from everyone; together we can do a lot.”
