WAPPINGERS FALLS – The
Dutchess County Drug Task Force has arrested two people following a month-long
investigation into drug sales in the Village of Wappingers Falls area.
Taken into custody on Route 9D in the village were Marlon Stewart, 33,
of the Bronx and Dacia McKenzie, 32, of Medford. When stopped on Tuesday,
September 5, they were found in possession of crack cocaine.
Both were charged with felony criminal sale and possession of a controlled
substance.
Stewart was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail while McKenzie
was committed on $50,000 bond.
Police said additional charges may be pending.
