Big Woods Road fire
MONTICELLO – A two-alarm fire at a residence at 14 Yellow Park Drive in Monticello Monday caused considerable damage. Smoke could be seen billowing into the morning sky at around 8:30 a.m.
Area fire departments were called in under mutual aid to assist with manpower.
Meanwhile, around 12:26 a.m., a two-alarm fire damaged a residence at Victory Cottages at 52 Big Woods Road.
Both fires are under investigation.
