KINGSTON – HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, headquartered in Kingston and a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network, has rejoined the Empire BlueCross BlueShield health insurance network.
The multi-year agreement, which took effect on Friday, lets patients
covered by Empire BlueCross BlueShield to go to HealthAlliance facilities
for all healthcare services – the Broadway Campus and HealthAlliance
Hospital, Mary’s Avenue Campus in Kingston and at Margaretville
Hospital in Margaretville.
Members of the insurance carrier “can now go to HealthAlliance
to get the great care they expect, with the doctors they trust, in their
home county, where they want to get care,” said HealthAlliance President
David Scarpino.
He said the hospital will work with Westchester Med Health “to increase our investment in the community by adding more physician specialists, equipping our hospitals with the latest technologies and improving access so we can keep the highest quality healthcare local for everyone.”
