Suspect

ELLENVILLE – Police are investigating the robbery of the Canal
Street branch of the Bank of America Tuesday afternoon.
Police said a man entered the bank around 1:47 p.m., handed a teller a note and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.  He left the bank and proceeded south toward Center Street.
The suspect is a white man, about five-feet, eight inches to six-feet tall, medium build, wearing a black hooded Rawlings sweatshirt, and dark colored baseball hat.
State Police, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office are involved in the investigation.
