POUGHKEEPSIE – The Poughkeepsie 911 Center received a call reporting a man shot at the intersection of Academy and Cannon Street. Officers found an 18-year-old city resident with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and shoulder. He was transported to a local hospital where he uderwent surgery.
Anyone who witnessed this shooting, just before 2:30 Saturday afternoon, or anyone with information on, or video of this shooting, is asked to call the City of Poughkeepsie Police at 845-451-7577.
