TOWN OF SOUTHEAST – State Police arrested a Brewster man on a felony charge of criminal sexual act.
State Police investigated a reported sexual offense that occurred on August 11 and determined that Gilardo Perez, 22, allegedly subjected a girl under the age of 15 to sexual contact. He became acquainted with the victim on Facebook.
Perez was sent to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
State Police were assisted by the Putnam County Child Advocacy Center.
