State releases Taconic State Park draft master plan

ALBANY – The state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has its draft master plan/draft environmental impact statement for Taconic State Park in Columbia and Dutchess counties.
The draft master plan outlines potential capital improvements, operational enhancements and natural and cultural resource stewardship in the park for the next 10 to 15 years.
A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, August 16 beginning at 7 p.m. at Copake Town Hall, 230 Mountain View Road in Copake.
Written comments about the plan will be accepted until September 15.
