KINGSTON – Police in Kingston arrested a city man in an assault that occurred in the early morning hours of August 4.
At that time, police responded to the area of Franklin Street for a report of a robbery during which the victim was assaulted by several people; personal property was stolen from him.
On August 10, members of the Kingston Police Special Investigations Unit located Austin Gilmore, 19, on Henry Street and arrested him. He was charged with felony robbery.
