Three arrested on drug charges at Ulster County Fair

NEW PALTZ – Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three people on narcotics-related charges at the Ulster County Fair in New Paltz.
On Saturday, August 5, deputies assigned to the fair ATV patrol located three people in the public parking lot at the fairgrounds.  Through investigation, deputies determined them to be in possession of crystallized MDMA and Xanax.
Christian Williams, 20, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; Jade Randazzo, 23, of New Paltz; and William Barton, 22, also from New Paltz, were each charged with the misdemeanor of criminal possession of a controlled substance.  All three were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of New Paltz Justice Court on a later date.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the New Paltz Police Department.
