NEW CITY – An employee of the Sears at the Shops in Nanuet was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felony grand larceny.
Clarkstown Police allege Carlentz Desire, 21, of Spring Valley, created false returns in the store register and transferred the money to his debit card. The transactions totaled $5,483.
Desire was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and falsifying business records, all as felonies. He was sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
