Fire damages Town of Goshen home

TOWN OF GOSHEN – A two-alarm fire at 2635 Route 17M in the Town of Goshen damaged a one-story residence Monday afternoon.
The fire in a 50 foot-by-100-foot, one-story wooden structure caused damage to the first floor and part of the attic, said Assistant Fire Chief Alex Streichwein.
No one was home at the time and no one was injured.  Two dogs were saved.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Goshen firefighters were
assisted under mutual aid.
