Woman killed Shawangunk motorcycle crash was Woodbourne resident

TOWN OF SHAWANGUNK – The
Ulster County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the woman
killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon.

Clorisa Hopkins, 39, of Woodbourne was a passenger on a 2017 Harley Davidson
operated by Kenneth Hopkins, 38, also of Woodbourne. Clorisa Hopkins was
pronounced dead at the scene while Kenneth Hopkins was airlifted to Westchester
Medical Center in Valhalla with serious injuries.

The accident occurred at around 12:25 p.m. Sunday on Burlingham Road near
Twin Oaks Lane when the bike ran off the roadway and into a ditch.

Police said the operator of a 2007 Harley Davidson, Ben Hopkins, 56, of
Woodbourne, suffered facial injuries and was treated at the scene.

The investigation is continuing and is in the preliminary stages, authorities
said.
