Long Island men caught with drug on Thruway

TOWN OF CORNWALL – A vehicle and traffic stop on the Thruway in the Town of Cornwall late on Thursday led to the arrests of two Long Island men.
The driver, Joseph Angelini III, and one of his passengers, Christopher Adams, both 19, were found in possession of over 15 grams of marijuana, some 3.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and three grams of concentrated THC oil.
Angelini was charged with felony drug possession. Adams was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Both were also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.  Angelini was additionally charged with a vehicle and traffic violation.
