POUGHKEEPSIE – State Police continue to investigate the disappearance
of a man from the Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center back on November 11,
1989.
Louis Reyes, who was 23 at the time he went missing, was being treated at the facility on a voluntary basis for a mental disability. He would be 51 today.
He was last seen at Harlem Valley on November 10, 1989.   He was approximately five feet, six inches tall, weighing 152 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.  Was wearing a blue or gray sweatshirt and jeans.
Several leads were explored throughout the investigation, including tips leading police to Connecticut and New York City.
