Columbia County woman accused of using stolen debit card

CHATHAM – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Ghent woman with felony criminal possession of stolen property and misdemeanor petit larceny following an investigation into the use of a stolen debit card.
On May 22, a man contacted the sheriff’s office to report his debit card was stolen. Using bank surveillance videos and bank records, a suspect was identified.
Jessica Kosnick, 40, is accused of using the debit card on several occasions to make cash withdrawals from ATMs in the Village of Chatham and Town of Greenport.  She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance pending further court action.
