GOSHEN – Orange County Democratic Party Chairman Brett Broge says day in and day out, Republican President Donald Trump keeps putting his foot in his own mouth.
While Broge said it is demoralizing, it may have its upside for the Democrats.
“Whether it is through remarks from press officials or tweets, or members of Congress having to apologize for what his stance is, is ridiculous,” he said. “It wears them down, but at the same time, it invigorates them and makes them want to be active, especially in a political nature.”
Broge said that is one reason why more Democrats are stepping forward
to run for local elections.
