WASHINGTON – Cornerstone Family Health Center headquartered in Newburgh has been granted $3.7 million per year for three years to continue its multi-facility care in Orange and Broome counties.
Organization President Linda Muller said the money is a vital component of its total $33 million per year budget.
“It will continue for us to continue our mission to provide quality, affordable healthcare to all people regardless of their ability to pay or their insurance status,” Muller said.
Cornerstone provides essential primary and preventative healthcare services to underserved populations in the two counties and also serves the homeless and families in transition through its Healthcare for the Homeless Program as well as residents of public housing through their Public Housing Primary Care Program.
