Two arrested on assault, other charges

KINGSTON – Two men have been arrested and charged with assault and other
crimes following a dispute with another person.
The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mark Wilson, 51, of
Ellenville and Clarence Wilson, 53, of Spring Glen. Mark Wilson was charged
with felonies of assault, criminal possession of a weapon, failure to
register as a sex offender, failure to change address as a sexual offender
and failure to report as a sex offender, as well as misdemeanors of assault,
conspiracy and menacing.

Clarence Wilson was charged with felony assault and misdemeanors of assault,
conspiracy and menacing.

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in Spring Glen on the evening
of May 11 and determined the Wilsons were the primary aggressors in the
dispute and had conspired to assault another person. The victim sustained
minor injuries from a knife and refused medical attention.

Clarence Wilson was released on his own recognizance while Mark Wilson
was remanded without bail.

State Police assisted at the scene of the incident.
