POUGHKEEPSIE – Two Poughkeepsie city women are under arrest on drug charges following execution of a search warrant at their residence at 19 South Clinton Street.
Arrested on Friday, May 5 were Christine Straley, 49, and Desiree Barnwell,
38, both residents at that address. During the search of their apartment,
police seized heroin, crack cocaine, scales, packaging material and $650
in cash.
Straley was charged with felony criminal sale and possession of drugs. Barnwell was charged with felony criminal possession of drugs. Both are in the Dutchess County Jail.
