TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – A warrant search resulted in the arrest of a Town of Poughkeepsie man on drug charges.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force searched 134 Innis Avenue in the Town of Poughkeepsie and charged Javante Carrington, 32, with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Additional charges are pending, according to police. Seized in the raid were an ounce of crack cocaine, scales, packaging material and some $2,000 in cash.
Carrington was sent to the Dutchess County Jail.
