Connecticut man accused of sexual contact with minor; police looking for other victims

Spring

PAWLING – A New Fairfield, Connecticut man is charged with four counts of criminal sexual act as felonies and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child as misdemeanors.
State Police allege that Richard Spring, 50, subjected a teenage boy under the age of 17 to sexual contact on several occasions while at a residence in the Town of Pawling.  Spring is also accused of offering the victim alcohol and marijuana.
Spring was stopped by police on Milltown Road and found to be operating his vehicle under the influence of drugs leading to a charge of driving while ability impaired by drugs. He was arraigned and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
The investigation is continuing.  State Police believe there may be other victims. Anyone with information regarding Spring is asked to call the State Police at 845-677-7300. All calls can remain confidential.
