Catskill man charged with trying to discard hypodermic needles

SAUGERTIES – Police in Saugerties arrested a Catskill man on charges of tampering with physical evidence and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was stopped on Route 32 in the Town of Saugerties.
Jason Legg, 30, was pulled over Saturday afternoon, April 15 and while being questioned by officers, he attempted to discard seven hypodermic needles. He was also found in possession of marijuana.
Legg was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail following his arrest.
