POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response will hold a citizens’ preparedness training session on Tuesday, March 28 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the NorthEast-Millerton Library Annex in Millerton.
The two-hour training session is designed to provide participants with the tools and resources to better prepare for any type of disaster. They will learn how to respond accordingly in a disaster and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions.
The program is being provided by the county departments of Emergency Response and Behavioral and Community Health.
There is no charge to attend. The program is being offered in various parts of the county throughout the year.
