State prison inmate charged with possessing razor weapon

TOWN OF SHAWANGUNK – A prisoner at the Shawangunk Correctional Facility is charged with felony possession of a weapon, a modified razor-type weapon, while incarcerated at the state prison.
State Police from the Highland barracks also charged Nathaniel Shepard, 37, on Wednesday with promoting prison contraband. He was arraigned in Shawangunk Town Court and returned to prison pending further court action.
