PORT JERVIS – Law enforcement officials executed a no-knock search
warrant at an apartment at 10 Prospect Street in the City of Port Jervis
and arrested two people on drug and weapons charges.
A search of the residence turned up bundles of heroin, cash, suboxone films, a digital scale and a switchblade knife.
Arrested by city police were Brandon Rivera and Heather Callas, both 22, and residents of the apartment.  They were each charged with criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both as felonies and misdemeanors. The felony charge alleged they possessed heroin with intent to sell it.
Bail was set at $10,000 for Rivera and $1,000 for Callas.
