Ulster Sheriff prescription drug drop off nets over 250 pounds of pharmaceuticals

KINGSTON – Ulster County residents dropped off over 255 pounds of unwanted pharmaceuticals to the sheriff’s office in 2016.
Unwanted, unused or expired prescription drugs have been determined to
be a substantial risk to the community by falling into the wrong hands
or by damaging the environment through improper disposal.
Unused pharmaceuticals may be dropped off any time, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, at the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center at 380 Boulevard in Kingston.  They may also be dropped off at substations if a deputy is there. The substations are located at:
