Police continue to investigate the cause
SAUGERTIES – A Coxsackie man, who was driving his Jeep Grand Cherokee
northbound on Route 32 south of Old Kings Highway in the Town of Saugerties
early Friday afternoon lost control of the vehicle when he reached over
to adjust his passenger side mirror.
Saugerties police said the vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and
rolled over coming to rest against some trees.
The driver, Peter Calvo, 40, was transported to the Health Alliance Hospital
Broadway Campus in Kingston.
Saugerties Police were assisted at the scene of the 1:P34 p.m. accident
by the Centerville Fire Department, Dias Ambulance and State Police.
