Sweat
POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Drug Task Force and Poughkeepsie City Police Emergency Services Unit arrested a Poughkeepsie man following execution of a search warrant at 120 Hudson Avenue in connection with an investigation into drug sales taking place there.
Shuron Sweat, 36, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon with other charges pending. At the time of his arrest on January 31, police confiscated an illegally possessed handgun as well as heroin, scales and packaging material.
Sweat was sent to the Dutchess County Jail.
