Poughkeepsie man arrested in connection with two bank robberies

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE –
A 37-year-old City of Poughkeepsie man has been arrested by Poughkeepsie
Town Police and charged with first-degree robbery following an investigation
into two robberies, the first on December 22, 2016 at a TEG Federal Credit
Union branch in the Town of Poughkeepsie and the second at a Chase Bank
branch in the Town of Newburgh on January 5, 2017.

Aldeimian Woolcock was arraigned in Poughkeepsie Town Court and remanded
to the Dutchess County Jail without bail. Additional charges are pending
in the Town of Newburgh.

The arrest was the result of a multi-agency investigation that included
town police in Poughkeepsie and Newburgh, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force
and State Police.
