Fatal structure fire in Dutchess

CLINTON CORNERS – A Clinton Corners man perish when fire engulfed a shed next to his house at 184 Shadblow Lane last Friday.
Firefighters and police were called to the scene at 2:30 p.m.  Once the flames were extinguished, authorities found the body of the residence, Kevin McGarry, 56, in the burned out shed.
The fire was brought under control by the East Clinton, Pleasant Valley and Stanford Fire departments.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the State Police and the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division.
