NEW WINDSOR – Top officials of Norwegian Airlines are expected to outline specifics of its European air service at Stewart Airport within the next several days.
The airline announced a few weeks ago that it would start daily flights across the pond. Specifics have not yet been announced, but company leaders will be coming to Newburgh to announce a launch date and which cities to be serviced initially.
The first flights are expected to be to Ireland, Scotland and possibly Spain with other destinations in the future. They may include cities in England and Norway.
Some destinations are expected to be serviced daily while others may have non-daily flights.
Initial fares will be as low as $69 one way.
