Crime Stoppers offers reward for hit-and-run driver in fatal crash

MAMARONECK– A tow truck driver, who was out of his vehicle tending to a disabled car, was struck by a hit-and-run driver Thursday morning and later died.
The tow truck driver, a 32-year-old Yonkers man, Salvatore Brescia, was
transported to Greenwich, CT hospital where he died, troopers said.
State Police said the accident occurred around 7 a.m. on I-95, the New England Section near exit 18B – White Plains-Mamaroneck Avenue, in Harrison. The accident was investigated by the State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.
The New York State Crime Stoppers organization is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Brescia’s death.
