Woman burned in Wesley Hills fire

WESLEY HILLS – A woman suffered burns to her forehead when she tried to extinguish a fire at 3 Wesley Chapel Road in Wesley Hills early Wednesday. She was treated at the scene by Rockland Paramedics and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by Spring Hill Ambulance. Her injuries do not appear to be life threatening, police said.
Ramapo Police were called to the location at 4:30 a.m. and found flames coming through the roof of the single-family residence.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
Tallman Fire Department was assisted by firefighters from Suffern, Monsey, Hillcrest and Mahwah.
