WHITE PLAINS – A Yonkers man pled guilty in Westchester County Court on Thursday to manslaughter in the death of his longtime girlfriend.
Nathaniel Grant, 51, faces up to 25 years in state prison when sentenced in December in connection with the death of Carol Finch.
At 5:30 in the morning on April 1, 2015, Yonkers police officers responded to a 911 call reporting a bloodied naked man walking down Warburton Avenue. He suffered several puncture wounds and lacerations to his stomach, legs, arms and hands. He was taken to an area hospital.
Police learned Grant had come from an apartment on Glenwood Avenue and when they investigated, they found Finch, 56, dead. She had been stabbed in the heart, lungs and liver.
Sometime before Grant was found by police roaming the street, neighbors said they had heard a commotion coming from inside the victim’s apartment.
