WAPPINGER – A 34-year-old Poughkeepsie man is being held in the
Dutchess County Jail without bail following his arrest last Wednesday
morning at 11.
State Police from the Wappinger barracks stopped Herbert Bell, Jr. for
speeding on New Hackensack Road in the Town of Wappingers.
An investigation revealed he was wanted for a violation of probation bench
warrant stemming from a conviction of felony theft by deception in Washington
County, Pennsylvania.
Bell was arraigned and remanded pending a future court appearance.
