Ohio man arrested in Cornwall for attempting to manufacture meth

CORNWALL – A West Portsmouth, Ohio man is in the Orange County Jail after he was found in possession of chemical agents and equipment for the purpose of producing methamphetamine.
Justin Cantrell, 42, was charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine as a felony, criminal possession of methamphetamine manufacturing material and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, all as misdemeanors.
Cantrell was arrested after police responded to a report of a suspicious
odor in room 12 at the Cadet Motel on Route 9W in Cornwall.  He is
being held in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
State Police investigated in conjunction with Cornwall Police, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and specialized State Police units.
